25 Year Lock Warranty

Limited Warranty for High Security British Standard Locks

1. Warranty Coverage
Jonas King Locksmiths (JK Locksmiths Limited) ("we", "us", "our") warrants to the original end-user purchaser ("you", "your") that our high security British Standard locks will be free from mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 25 years from the date of original installation.

This warranty covers the mechanical components of the lock only and applies solely to products installed by, or under the supervision of, an approved locksmith from Jonas King Locksmiths (JK Locksmiths Limited).

2. What We Will Do
If a mechanical defect arises within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective lock or component at no charge for parts or labour. If the original model is no longer available, we reserve the right to replace it with a comparable model of equal or greater quality.

3. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear due to normal usage

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, tampering, modification, or improper installation

  • Cosmetic damage or finish deterioration

  • Failure resulting from attempted burglary or forced entry

  • Electronic components, if applicable

  • Keys and key cylinders (unless proven defective at manufacture)

  • Locks used in commercial or communal environments unless explicitly rated for such use

4. Claim Procedure
To make a warranty claim, contact Jonas King Locksmiths (JK Locksmiths Limited) with proof of purchase, installation date, and a description of the defect. Claims must be made within the warranty period and may require product inspection by our authorised representative.

5. Limitations of Liability
This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy and replaces all other warranties, express or implied. In no event shall Jonas King Locksmiths (JK Locksmiths Limited) be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

6. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
